With a higher manification even a scratch appears as a column. Laughing Laughing

But It is something that is into the die and starting to erode away leaving the raised look. To rough to be a scratch, too small to be a gouge. Maybe it a scouge? Not sure, but it is not doubling. Just an die issue. Too straight for a crack, but acting like one with the deteriation.

Nope, it don't fit my train of thought. Does the outside of the first column have a similar "crease, or maybe better said, tear?

Sorry Darrell, no "banana". I have some of the same thing, and there have been other questions along the same line. THey appear to be a tearing, to a greater, or lessor degree, and nothing more. The same thing shows in other areas, as well. net worth: one cent. That one is a "toss".

Darrell: Anything questionable I still hang on to. what if you read a few weeks/months/years something about them. I keep questionable. I have less reason to kick myself for it later. What are you out holding on to them? One Cent.... Wink Wink Wink

Good advice , Coop, I just wish I had known about this forum a couple years ago. I wouldn't be bruising my "dereire", now! I had the 1994P-1dr-001 in hand. It was a bit odd, but, because I wasn't collecting cents, other than as "aslo ran", I didn't recognize a "goodie" when I saw it! The Germans have a saying for this: "Too soon old, Too late smart"!

I have a story I would like to tell, but can't due to timing. So I will hold my tongue till I can tell you. But it is about not tossing back into circulation coins that were deamed not a collectable, but now are. Glad I saved them... Cool Cool Cool Cool

I told you he, (COOP), is just an old desert pack-rat! He still has the 30 shillings, that..... Well, maybe he isn't the one I'm thinking about!
