Let me add a couple of tibits about this subject. Coop, check out 1993D-1DR-001 and 1993P-1DR-001; you will find two examples of extra columns outside of bay # 6.
I agree with Bob that these are a class IX, however, we must take into consideration that some of these extra columns were made during the multiple hubbing process. I will probably incur the wrath of the doubled die god, but I still maintain that all of these doublings that occur in and around Lincoln's statue are caused by a re-setting of the hub to the die blank and what we are seeing is the first kiss of the hub to the die. One of these days I may have enough material and information to prove that beyond a doubt.
That is why this site is so very important for it not only takes over where CONECA was but does it better. One of the very good reasons to support and spread the word about this site.
