Prayers needed!

I just got home from the hospital and she has no change. they did get a lot of gunk out of her lungs though. i dont know how she was breathing through that but i guess she realy wasnt.
she is still at 40% oxygen and is still in her coma.
i talked to her and she had tears running down her face so i know she is still with us. she is also on a tranfusion thing that oxygenates her blood sense her lungs are not doing it. and now has an infection where they put the IV in her neck so they tryed to put it in a vein under her collar bone but had no luck and if they would have kept trying the Dr was afraid he would punture her lung so they are going to just keep an eye on the infection.
thanks for the prayers and phone calls from the few that do have my # every prayer is welcome.as for myself i am good . if i can figure out how to sleep i will be fine too but i called the Dr today for help with that and he is setting me up. so maybe tonite i wont lay there and count spackel marks on the ceiling and try to figure out what they look like. lol
thats about all i have new so i am going to look at change for a bit and see if i can find another DDR.
BY the way i had that last one slabbed and will get pic's up as soon as i can

Your experience over the last few days gives us all a better perspective on why other major events are just minor irritations (our Congress and Wall Street).

Both situations are still very serious. We need to keep the prayers coming, until she is well, and back home, in good shape.
The same thing with the DOW, and congress. In medicine, one goes to the source of the problem, and "fixes" it. In the case of the congress, the only way I see to "fix" that problem is to LIMIT the number of terms one can serve there. NO MORE LIFETIME jobs in either house! If the bad isn't removed, it only gets worse!
In the case of the DOW, it will take care of itself.
The other problem we should be paying a LOT more attention to is the border situation! It reminds me of the Cuban mass invasion, when they decided to allow all the Xcuban prisioners, Political, murderers, etc leave the country. Nothing but "persona-non-grata"! The largs majority of those that cross the southern border are the SAME THING!! The educated people from the various countries that cross the border, are very poor, and very un-educated. They are from the Ejidos". Share-cropper farms, and they get to eat what they grow, and the rest is sent out. No life, no future. Not all the ones on the border are wanting to cross, looking for work. They are the drug-trafficers, fighting for their "turf", and many are dying. Many of those dying are not even tied into the "trasde" in any manner. Just innocent victoms. WE HELP the drug trade, by not making the drugs available, FREE, with the agreement to trty to get free of them. That is the omnly way we will stop helping the drug-trafficing! Sorry about getting "off--track" but I think of that situation, and get pretty upset!

Well I spent the day with the wife today and she has turned for the worse. blood pressure was 200/100 and that was when they could control it. I don't have a clue what any of it means but she has an enlarged heart and high blood pressure and both lower lobes are still about a 1/4 full still. I don't know if she is trying to give up or if she just cant take it.she was more with us yesterday we had a conversation not the kind like normal people have but the blinks and squeezes kind and she seemed to be doing great I even thought she would be home soon but now I wonder if she even will or wants to. I want to tell her it is ok to go but my greed wont let me. sorry to bring this to everyone that reads the boards but it has to go somewhere and I am not ready to take it to the family yet. I guess it is something we all have to go through it at least once in our lives but I was not ready yet but again nobody said life was fair.
that all I have today I will try to get back tomorrow

You are the strength your wife needs through all of this. There will be ups and downs and being greedy about wanting your wife there with you is not being selfish. Continue to be strong Gary. well I just got back from the hospital again and she is wide awake and feeling better. they are going to remove the tubes going down her throat on Monday and put in a trek. that will allow her to talk anyway. thanks for all the prayers and support I know that they have been helping. she still has maybe two more weeks in the hospital though but she will be able to communicate. you never know how important that is till it is gone. I go back later this eve and will update then or in the morning

Here is an update on Gary, and his wife:
Hello Dick
She is doing a bit better but we will learn more tomorrow.
she will go on a treck tomorrow and a tube in her side to feed her.
so her mouth will be free to do all the bitching I am sure she miss's lol.
anyway she is doing better tonite than this morning so I am happy with that or should I say I will take that.
she will not come home for possibly more than a month though.she still has maybe two weeks in ICU and then a couple weeks in recovery "I never heard of that" but they say she will be in awhile. then after they are done with her she will go to a nursing home. we picked the best one in town and are going to do a surprise inspection tomorrow.
and she will be there a few weeks. Man I did not see all this coming.
I knew she didn't feel well but if I had known this was coming I would have made her an appointment with our family Dr way before this crap started. she still cannot breath on her own. they tried it yesterday and no go. she still needs assist with the machine.
so all in all she is alive and we are doing all we can to keep her that way.
please pass the word as I have not got the time to go site to site and tell all. but I only posted her on coincom and coppercoins.

Hello all
the wife is doing better now but will be in the hospital for at least another month.
they took her off life support about two weeks ago and now she is on assist from the machine.
the hallucinating was from the med's they used to keep her in a coma and will wear off in the next month or so.
she will spend Thanksgiving and possibly Xmas in the hospital as she still cannot breath on her own. they took the machine off yesterday and she doesn't have the energy to breath so they had to put her back on it.

she has the life back in her eyes though so she should make a full recovery but they say she can still give up any time so she is still guarded.
