I would buy Bank wrapped Rolls first. Years.... First I would buy Wheat Cents in BU, then 59,60,61,62,63,64,68,69,70,71,72, 80,81,82,83,84,85,86,87,88,89 Bank wrapped ones, then The tubes wheat BU's, 59,60,61,62,63,64. The other years of tubes probably have been picked over for the biggies, 72,83,84, but the BU tubes of 85,86,87,88,89 of D mint might yield a few minor RPMs. That is what I would go for in tubes. In the Dealer Stock I would check out the BU coins in 2X2's with a strong glass. A lot of older wheats that are very nice could yield some nice RPMs or DDO or DDR's. Also the proof coins I would look at with real interest especially AFTER checking for BWR, tubes, before going to the 2X2's. They Bank rolls of Cents are first to run out in my past experiance. Then check dealer stock. This works for me at the local show. Watch for rolls of tubes that have ends on each end that open. They are terrible to open, but usually haven't been touched for several years as no one want to deal with them. A secret thing to watch for. I always appear interested in collecting BU coins for my collection but watching for RPMs, and DDs. If they mention you have two 1944-D cents, I tell them I'm picking up some for something else. If they suspect you are Cherrypicking them, the price may increase when you buy them. So I'm cool about what I find.
