Common Non Error Cents

A mistaken error coin is just as common and as Cents are is where there is a slight amount of coin metal toward the rim. I think there correct term is too much "Striking Pressure." You see these on only plated zinc coins and at first they may appear as a doubled image on the coin. But in reality they are just part of the plating moved to another area of the outside edge of the coin. When you are searching up see this a lot so we know it is common. But what happed to them? I believe the term too much striking pressure fits well. You even see this towards the rim where the plating is completely gone exposing the zinc core. I believe that is also created by too much striking pressure. So maybe another mystery unraveled?
