Our there more errors & die varieties coins, found coming from the Philadelphil mint? The more I read it seems this is the case
especially in the wide a. m. and close a.m.

Doubled dies are more prevalent from the Philly Mint. This could have something to do with the sheer number of coins minted at this facility versus the others. Of course, when you talk about varieties, the Denver and San Fransisco mint will have more RPMs than Philedelphia since the P mint mark was only used during and after the WWII years on certain coinage.
