My mother suffers from Alzheimers and I sometimes think I have inherited it. But I can't remember.

For some reason I keep on having a problem with logging in and getting a message that my password and ID do not match. When I get a new password to reset I change it back to what I had before but it does not work. Has anyone else had a similar problem ?

All I can assist with here is to tell you that passwords and usernames are case sensitive here. "Password" and "password" are two different words to a web program like this one, so be careful about how you have your caps set when you type the info in.

Fortunately, and unfortunately at times, I do not have access to anyone's passwords here, so I cannot help you other than to reset your password to something else if you forget what yours is set at. I cannot ever read what you do have it set at. It is one-way encrypted into the database. I can see the encrypted passwords, but they do me no good at all. The key is a complicated algorithm. "password" ends up looking like 384f220d4a8bca4493f5401b4cd9.

Anyhow, just watch how you type this info in. I have never had trouble with mine, and have never had to change it.

Just noticed this post and just in case the submitter ever finds it again I'd like to say that I too have had trouble getting in with my user name/password many times. Today for instance I had to try about four times. sometimes wonder if I too am getting old.

I just noticed that I can make a post if I quote someone but can not post anything else. So I'm trying to fquote myself.

Two buttons beneath the posts or categories on any screen...

You can post a reply to the thread, or post a new thread altogether. With the new thread you would have to type in a subject or it won't take. With a reply a new subject is not necessary.

You can also hit 'quote' and quote the comment in any post.

It's not that you "can't" do these things, it's just that you haven't found how it works.
