With all the irons that I have in the fire, it seems that the amount of searching of circulated Lincoln cents that I do has fallen off dramatically, but when I do get a chance to break open a few rolls, I occasionally get a surprise. This 2004 fell under my scope today and as you can see, it has nice step deviation under columns # 5 through 8 without any shift. Less apparent is the fluting line extension under columns # 2 and 3 which although light still can be seen. Normally a die like this borders on being a major wavy step, however, with the addition of the extra, long, sixth column, it does put it over the top, so welcome 2004, WSDDR-021. I still consider this to be a dual doubled die for I believe that each doubling, the wavy step and the extra column, are caused by two different functions of the hub to die process.
