Good example of why to tilt your coins when checking for varieties. Looking about straight on at this one it looks like an RPM but tilting shows a die scratch running through the MM.

That's a very good diagnostic point Steven. Sometimes, well placed scratches or gouges can make you see things that aren't actually there. Thanks for the pics as they show your point very nicely.

Steven, you just eliminated half my RPMs. Just kidding. That was great detective work and a great educational piece. I really enjoy all the tips people share on this site.
