As I recall, that is mater hub doubling. You can find it one several different dies during that time. Not all have it, but a lot of them do. So it is fairly common. Nice RPM. It looks like Late EDS or MDS as the RPM book doesn't look as nice as your coin. The site shows a MDS Example. Do the markers match?

Thanks Coop-
The site offers photos only for MDS, as the EDS and LDS are currently unavailable or unposted.
I'd say the markers do match closely the MDS, so that's probably the case.
Are you aware of other places I can check for EDS or LDS marker photos or text description?

Coop hit it on the head. The doubling around the 8 of the date is master die doubling. As far as other die states and markers, when we get one of those to add to the site, we will put it in there. We primarily want to at least get one die state (no matter which one) on the site before we go and start filling in the other die states.
The only other info I could find concerning other markers was LDS where there is a small die chip on the right crossbar of the T in CENT. Important to remember also that sometimes, reverse dies are changed, and markers may not match for each die state.

The Site has only the One listing so you might wait for another example or someone with a different die state to chime in. The RPM I have is an earlier one than on the Site. It looks like yours on the RPM. Let see there are a die scratch through the 19 in the date and a large die scratch under the Mint mark area just East of the Vest and under the mintmark. Three strong die scratches on the inside of the B on LIBERTY. Two NE/SW Die scratches through CEN on Reverse.
