If it is it's the strongest I've ever seen. Could be a die gouge but the shape of it is interestingly like the upper lid.

I think a well placed die gouge. It would take quite a bit of rotation for the eyelid to double like that, and being that it is very strong, it would likely show in other areas if it were doubling.

Hi John. Glad to see you back here again! I tend to agree with Chuck on this one. It is very interesting though, but I can't see how it could be hub doubling.

Thanks for the help guys. I could not imagine how it could be hub doubled either, but it looks so convincingly similar to the actual eyelid (only flipped).
It is nice to post here again. I took a break because I reached a point where I was looking, but not seeing anymore- so I put my efforts back into my capped bust half collection.
But these Lincoln varieties have a darn gravity to em
