Just got in and opened the mail. I picked this up on eBay for 26 bucks. Don't need another but I couldn't resist.
DDO FS-012.1
I'll send it in to PCGS and see what they grade it. Mike

Very nice for the age. Let me guess MS-63. The letters have a little bump on them. Very nice and one of me favorites.

Coop-that's what I guess with the coin in hand. It was described as 65/65, and as a "Clogged B Variety".

Still a sweet coin. I check one of mine that is nice, (not at BU as yours) for the V.D.B. dot locations, but mine is the same. I was looking for a V .D.B. I was going to fix up an image of the two for a avitar. But I will have to keep looking.

Coop, I wonder how many others are digging out their '09's, to compare their '09's with the photos? Besides me! Dick

That is a nice looking coin, wish I had one like it! I have three, but only G4, G8, f12. I would sayMS60/MS63. I'm no expert~! I rely on those who are. I also have a 1909, no VDB, not an Indian. Pice pick up.

Ed: I've noticed the 1909 Plain VDB's and the 1909-S VDB's have a different placement of the dot on the reverse. Not that I own a 1909-S VDB, but from auctions I've examined photos of. Check out Chuck's book on page # 46.

Umm...I have a sneaking suspition this coin could be 1909P-1DO-002. If so, it would be a condition census coin.
