Amazing, somebody mailed a voting ballot with an inverted Jenny stamp. That would be like spending a copper 1943 cent in a gumball machine. Crying or Very sad

There is one other situation that can happen, especially in Florida. Often widows are left with collections of stamps, coins, etc. that were pains takingly put together by their now deceased husbands. After a time, when it decided to part with such things, the poor woman has no idea of the worth or in fact, what to do with the collection. So stamps maybe put on envelopes, coins maybe dumped in "COIN STAR", or even worse yet, unscrupulous people may get a hold of the collection, offering a pitance of the true worth, which is excepted because the value and the understanding of what is there is NOT KNOWN.

Advise; plan for that time. Make your mate aware of what your cllection is and its worth. We live not for ever.

Odd that this stamp should come to light at this time, election,.or no election. I went to a yard sale recently, and there was an album with 21 22K gold replica stamps, and also an "enlarged Jenny". My youngest son collected stamps when he was young, and so I sent him the album. Strange world, No?

BJ, speak for yourself! Very Happy
All kidding aside, it is a great loss to those who sought in vain for such a jewel.
As far as the rates going up, what do you think the Gon't was going to do, Give us a break? Not in this lifetime! Dick
