Well, I draged out another tub of coins today... boy oh boy was that heavy!! Boxes and boxes 35 in fact of rolled pennies.
So whats better than a few rolls that haven't been searched in a great long while.
The first roll is from the Merchants National Bank In Cedar Rapids Iowa and the second is from the Pittsburgh branch Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
Dont know whats in them.
So if you are interested in a little something to keep you busy and out of the kitchen ( Hence out of trouble. ) during this holiday season.... Tell me.. How many COINS in the mason jar?
8PM CST Monday.....
Here is your 1 and only hint: The answer is NOT 261.

And because my daughter has the camera with her at the Holidazzle Parade we won't change the picture.
Ok though.. to clarify.. how many COINS??????
now I have to count again.. 1 2 3 4 5 ..... 67.. 92......

Catherine, did you hold one cent back, to confuse me, us, them? I guess 279!
My wife says there are , 325
Does the winner get a roll of unsearched cents?

The winner gets Both rolls pictured with the jar.
Unless they want a certain year of coins.. I seem to have all the 1970's through 1989 in roll format P, D and S along with a ton of old bank rolls of misc. dates.

Catherine, I was just kidding, about the roll! But, should my guess be correct, I'll do this: one roll to BJ, for putting me onto this site! Good luck to all!

lets do the math the blonde way lol. If I am thinking the same way as you are. then you would do 100 coins less then I did. so the actual answer is 161. so there ya have it folks 161.

Too old to worry, Catherine, I found out it doesn't change a thing. I didn't get in on the first part of your thought, so when I saw the jar, I couldn't resist "putting in my two cents worth"! I cheated, so don't be surprised if I don't win. I filled a quart jar, too! Only thing mine are all wheats, so there will be more in my jar, than in your jar, due to the wear on them. Sime of them are teens, so somewhat worn! Like me! What are you doing up at this time of the night? 'Nother night owl, like me?
