I found a poor 1916-D today but I think its got some cud on it.. take a look.. pictures are poor because as much as a read and try the photos thread stuff I cant seem to get it right. Still neat to find laying on the ground though.

Thats lucky for finding on the ground.

Looks like a bit of corrosion started to get it but ones we find on the ground are cool even with that right Rolling Eyes

Yea a $500 16-d dime would be nice, you could sell it and get 1000 rolls of pennies Laughing

It wouldn't count unless it was a 1894-S Dime. That would be a GREAT find. They say a collection of the Mercury Dimes is worth what one 1916-D Dime is worth.

I saw one on ebay 1916 D dime for $1750 with BIDS!!... pay the mortgage AND 1000 rolls of pennies. Im re-checking the Dime list tonight... Gramps might have one.. course if he does its probably machine doubled, mercury covered, with after mint damage and has been cleaned.. twice!
