Anyone here like that show/series of books/movie?
Ran into this and had to chuckle:
"Ningi, a triangular rubber coin six thousand eight hundred miles along each side, from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It is valued at the rate of eight Ningis to one Triganic Pu. No one has ever owned a Pu."

I think most people had two pu earlier...
And as the book says, Don't Panic... also, don't forget your towel and sub-etheric thumb...
I'm glad this worked out to be my 300th post... somehow it just makes sense...

Gentlemen, aren't you glad you "two PUed, today? Think about tomorrow, when EVERYONE will be wanting to "two PU", and you might have to wait..... Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!

I knew someone that read that book, I asked him what it was about and he said the result was 42! I never understood what he meant, is that the same book? What did 42 mean?

42 is the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything that the great computer Deep Thought computed in only 7 million years.
Unfortunately, nobody ever thought to ask what the question was, so the answer really doesn't make a lot of sense.
If I remember correctly...
