First anyone know where you can get a price list on VAM's for morgans. I cant find one and PGCS doesnt have the VAM's. Second what do you think of this double ear.. picture is not the best but its very nice under the scope. Its a Top 100 Morgan. I was thinking of having it graded.. but I am not sure.

Creilly, the best source for information on VAMs right now is www.vamlink.com They currently have values for the Hot 50 and 8 tailfeather varieties. Unfortunately, not the Top 100. You might be able to forward a question. The SSDC (Society of Silver Dollar Collectors) also has many knowledgeable VAM specialists that can answer questions. They publish an emailed monthly journal called VAM-E.

Catherine: Is there something going on with the eyelid? Looks double there or it may just be part of the design. Not all that familiar with the high $$ stuff. Mainly a Cent man myself.

I just got a recent issue of the SSDC journal Vamview and they have recent sales prices on all VAMs, believe it or not. The 1888 VAM 11 is priced as follows: PCGS63, $158 ; ANACS63, $74 ; PCGS62, $123 ; PCGS62 $95 ; ANACS61 , $42. A PCGS65 was sold for $280. Sales dates are from August to October 2006.

Thank you Dick, think of me as the good humor Girl.
So. the asking of $135 is in the right neighborhood.
I wont get it of course. I refuse to sell anything on eBay for 1 cent. Except a cent lol.
