1978D 1DO-001

Found this 1978D that appears to be very similar to the 1DO-001 listed here however may be another die stage. It doesn't show the markers listed in the sixth and seventh bay and looks to have seperation or notching on the S in TRUST. Did a layering and the date & MM matched up.
Would I be guessing right here.

I would say it is.

There aren't many DDOs from 73-79 and I never find the ones that do exist like that one. Neat find Laughing

On second thought I looked at one I had in my "not sure of box" and I do see the markers of 1DO-001 so I think it must be. Compared to yours the 9 is less wide and the S has no notch like yours. Maybe yours is an earlier state or different better variety Question

My first indication is that it is a different variety all together. I don't see a lot of similarities to die # 001. This one seems to be stronger.
