I'm watching this auction close in a few minutes.
An ANACS 72 DDO 68 RB looks like die 1..
First it looks good and the seller seems ok with feedback and it has the paypal guarantee.
Look real close at the close up which is a die 1. It looks like it's in a PCGS holder by the texture around the coin areas plastic not clear like the new ANACs clear view holder in the blury big picture.
Then look at the blury reverse picture you can barely read the ANACs cert number it looks like 1480014... Then look in the sellers feedback at the second feedback down. It was one the seller bought as an ANACs 72 RB DIE 3 in 63RB and look it has the same cert number! Could it be a manipulated holder/photo?
Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing
Take a look at this and tell me if I'm seeing what I see

One thing I did see on the reverse of both is the die rotation seems to be about 10-15% on both photos of the reverse. Would that be right. The #3 I have doesn't have any rotation. Maybe I'm just seeing things again.
The reverse photo of the #1 does have the same number as he has listed on the #3 Hum. Wonder whats up. May have a photo of the reverse of the #3 listed with the others for the #1.

I don't know if the one from Ebay is genuine, or not, but it looks a whole lot like my 1969S-1DO-001.SD. Especially in "liberty". I couldn't get a decent photo to show.
Maybe you can see from this one. I know it is "STRIKE DOUBLING, and I'm sure it has been "doctored"!

Yes Dick, you're right on that.
I guess ebay can be good but it's full of pits, potholes and traps. It's never totaly safe.
On stuff like the 69-S my first thought is if the seller truly thought they found a $20,000 coin they would get it graded.
Be careful and have fun

I meant to mention that it has a 10-15% rotation CW, on my 69S.
