Yeah if I had some better lighting for the detail to show without the shadows.

But light and darkness is what makes an image. It looks find the way it is. I love the classic design of the coinage from the 1916-1945 era. Too bad it doesn't come back.....

Here is what an avatar of your image could look like.

What would a coin looking like that get for a grade. I am assuming it would be close to the highest grade. I don't know a lot about grading.

I don't really see anything that could be reduce it from a 70 but what do I know from grading Laughing

Maybe some one would want to use that as an avatar. I think I will stick with the one I've had for a while.

Steven, That is a real beauty! Now check it real close, on the right shoe, and foot, to see if there are any die cracks, or breaks from the rim, up thru the shoe, (foot), and to the area around the heel. I have several of them.and they all have the cracks, (breaks). Do you have them in the album?

This came in the three coin 20th Aniversary set. Don't see any cracks. Not often I get to buy something nice in a set of coins.
Here are the other two. The specks are not on the coins they are on the plastic cases. I think I like the looks of the first one better.

real nice looking set, Steven. I didn't buy one. Maybe next year. There probably wouldn't be any flaws of any kind, considering that there were a very few made, and one would expecy to have a near perfect example, in that case.

I bet the home shopping channel could get that one graded MS-70 & PR-70. They seem to pull a lot of string with PCGS. They get to buy what they want first cause they buy so much in volume. Let them wait in line like every one else. Let them get the VLDS quarter and nickels. Always seems like the first ones for the year I get are you know what... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
