Welcome curly,
I have a bit of an interest in IHCs as well, but I would be happy just to complete a circulated set right now. Five or six left to go.

I too, welcome you, and with a question: What Is/ are IHC's? They seem to be known here, but not to me, !. I assume them to be Comemmoratives.

To all who responded so quickly, Thank you very much!. I have a few of then!
Bob, I have a question for you, in particular: The 1999D-1DR-001, under the "markers", I find over the "T" in cent, a die dent, but I also notice in thes area, and running to the left, are the impressions of a possible die clash. Is it there? I have in hand the same coin, but with minor differences. Not all pointers are present, and the Die dent is not present, but an angled spot is very close to it. I'll try to post this coin, later. BTW, this is the first coin I have been able to tie to the photos on the site. This made my day!
FORGOT...Bob, I need to send you a PM. I'll have to compose it, so it won't be right away. THanks.
Dick

Thanks, everyone, for the quick responses to my initial post.
To answer a question: IHC= Indian Head Cents. I am currently building a set of 20th century IHC proofs in MS65 BN or RB. The reason I am building such a short set is my attention span wouldn't stay with a complete set.
I am also working on a set of matte Lincolns in MS64 RB. Thats a short set also.
When I get done with those two, I am going to take a big gulp and get me some of those matte Buffalos. That will also be a short set.
I have been getting my IHCs from Rick Snow (Eagle Eye) and my Lincolns from Evan Gale (Aspen Park) so you guys leave them alone.
I don't know how to post photos but my daughter usually visits me on the weekends and I'll get her to show me how to post and I'll put some up for you. I'll have to use Rick's and Evan's pics.. I hope they don't mind.

Welcome to Coppercoins Curly. You collect some nice copper! Wish I could afford to collect IH & Early Lincoln matte Proofs. Wish you luck with it.
I just search new and circulated rolls for variety cents as do quite a few of us around here. I wouldn't mind seeing some of your nicer examples if you have photos of them. Got any toners?

Hi Curly - My own welcome goes out to you - I hope you find what you need in this site, and if not, we are the people to tell. If it's not here, we can make it happen together.
I see everyone is getting acquainted, so I'll step back and let you get back to it.

I'll try to get some lincolns up on this forum and some IHCs on the IH forum next week.
Most of my Lincolns are toned as they are either B or RB. RBs have a nicer look than R (in my opinion), plus they are a lot cheaper. There is also the chance that a red will morph into a
RB so why not just go for the RB (and prettier) coin in the first place?
