Playing with the photoshop again. Trying to get better at it. I used this 2006P to try and point out the clashes and identify through layering. The layering was a bit difficult due to there being some rotation and centering issues. BUT I think I might be getting close to figuring this out.

Found two in the same circulated roll of cents. Only ones with die clashes I've found for '06.

Nice overlays Steven. You seem to be doing well with your photo program. Keep it up and hopefully you're skills will help you turn out stuff as good as Cooper's.

(Shouldn't your numbers be reversed? Bay nine/planter should be bay 3/planter. And bay 2 should read bay 9. That's because the memorial is upside down when struck on the obverse. And because they're upside-down, the bays would read from right to left.)

I think the bay numbers are right. I don't know that I will ever get as good as coop. Hard to catch up with someone when they are still full steam ahead. I have been bookmarking some of his work for review. Wink That wouldn't be cheating would it Laughing

Steven: I don't do what I do to leave everyone in the dust. I'm trying to help accelerate everyone so they don't have to experiment. Its always great to have a guide to find the shortest path.

Overlay of the die clash marks is really good an addition to the site that zeros in on an area uncovered. The only thing I probably do different is that I use proof coins and reduce opacity to 50 % on each side. But on BU coins, you did it correct with the way you've done it.

It great to see someone apply and improve what I'm trying to accomplish here on the site. G O O D J O B. Anyone can use what I explain as I maybe heading full steam in a direction, but you pick up what I've missed. That's how it is done.

Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

Great job, Stven! You just identified a mark, that I was curious about: Top, right corner of bay #3. Die clash, back of the neck AND, looks like from bays four, thru seven, and be the "arrows, and or spear Bob shows in abe's hand, are the jacket, and shirt, running down across the neck area. Excellent!

Nice job with Photoshop. What version of Photoshop do you have? I got to get one.

David.
This is 7.0

I have been told that there is a free download for a similar type program. It's called Gimp 2. Maybe some here have used it and can comment better on it than I can. Could be a temp until/if you get photoshop. Free is free anyway.

Steven, where did you say it came from? As you say, free, is free, but I'll still try it, and if I can afford it, I'll buy it, too!
