Chuck may have permitted the use of the photo I guess. I've looked at the photos on this site so much and when I saw that one I thought I recognized the manner of photography and without using the coppercoins designation or accrediting coppercoins with the photo it just didn't seem right. I may be butting in where I don't need to but I hope not. Just trying to help watch out for the sites interests.

Part of our agreeing to let anyone use photos on the site is that coppercoins is noted. This guy did not do that and I will contact him about his failure to either ask permission, or to do it right. Good, sharp eyes folks. We are always looking to ensure our copyright is adhered to.
I went back through his past auctions and it looks like he's been doing it often on varieties. I will let you all know what becomes of this.

When listing in auctions along with giving credit when a photo is used people should also state that each photo is or is not the actual coin being sold.
People assume photos are of the exact item they will get. In reality they might get a lower grade, different state or different variety or no variety at all. I'm not commenting on this listing just on listings that use photos other than the same item listed without stating it.

I didn't catch this one in time - guilty of being busy and not checking in here over the past few days.
Yes, I am VERY tight about the copyright infringement problem we've had, and I WILL go after anyone who doesn't respect the law. Period.
Please continue to report them here and I'll scare them out so we can drown them.
