I was just sorting out some OBR's that I had searched already and I decided to look over a roll of 44P's that had produced a really nice find before. This roll produced the 1944P DDO-003 Plate Coin seen on this site. Well I'll be darned---I just found another from the roll that I had searched and obviously missed one. Re-check those rolls guys.

That's a nice 44.
Interesting how in certain years (or adjacent years) they make similar DDOs, the 44 1DO-001 has similar doubling under TY.
I found a similar 43 but did not ever get it listed and I've not seen it listed anyplace. I had one slabbed but just as a DDO. You can see it also has a similar spread below TY and west (pic does not show west but it's there) If you have some 43P cents take a look because I've found 3 of these and did not have many to look at so they're out there waiting to be found.

Eric, I think many of us have walked that path. I, too was an RPM and die breaks man. THen between Mike Diamond, ( presidnet , CONECA), BJ Neff, aka Wavysteps2003, and others got me onto "die dents", looking for different 46-S MM "s" varities, (3), and then came COPPERCOINS.COM, thanks to BJ, again!
