An Amos Hobby Publishing catalog was inserted in a recent Coin World issue. I ordered some of their Premium holders, six for cents and six for dollars. I discovered the green plastic insert is very stiff and it is very difficult getting cents in these things. They tell you to bend the insert and it is supposed to be easier. But it really isnt. The larger holes for the dollar make the rest of the insert a little more pliable. Other wise, they are a nice way to protect the coins. I purchased them in order to keep my 1908 S/S cents and other Lincoln die varieties in them, but I decided not to do that because I was handling other coins with gloves on trying to insert them and I dont want to take any chances with the surfaces of the 1908 coins. I did put my two 1956 cents with the odd gouge over the 5 in them. Again, I had to touch the coins with my gloves more than I would have liked. If anyone has similar experiences with these holders and any tips on inserting the coins, please comment! Thanks very much!
