Front and back for ya'll.. then see the "W" Inside tail on the "S" in trust, "T and R" too but hard to see, Liberty is pretty self explained, The 1909 look at tail of last 9 on out side, right side of the 1 and possibly the bottom outside of 0, VDB looks doubled to me on the left of each letter... Sorry the pictures are not better and I know its all probably machine doubling....
But its a pretty sweet VBD I got for $5.00 in a set with a 38 nickel, 46 dime, 32 quarter, 64 Kennedy and a 71 Ike..First year of issue for each coin. Some Presidential Classic Inaugural Edition set from the late 70's to early 80's All nicely slabbed and boxed.

Catherine: I think your right. You can see them marks of machine doubling strong on LIBERTY. The lasck of being a doubled die is this: Not all the letters. If the die was doubled these letters would have been wider/taller/notched. But as they are on your coin the size of the numbers/letters all look normal. I did see the S on TRUST that looked like something was going on, but really could tell for sure. But the rest of the coin looks normal. Still a nice example to sell to someone that needs a nice 09 VDB for their collection. I bet you got this batch for a good buy. You seem to hit the better deals there. Even rolls of circulated Cents in the Phoenix area yield little/none for varieties as so may eye go over them. When I go out of town about 50-100 miles, I find more in the rolls I pick up there. So its about time for a trip out of town again. Its hard for me to do anything as I usually get my days off one in a row! (Not a misspell).

I seem to be lucky in running into good deals. I just wish I could find something worth a bit more than $5.00. Oh well.
