The Brits and their "Beagle" appears to have failed so tonight should be quite interesting to see if we can land successfully. The possibilities are mind boggling should evidence of past cellular life and/or abundant water be discovered! What I fear most is that the public won't be informed of discoveries by those who "know best" and believe mankind can't handle such revelations. As someone once said "to believe we are the only semblence of life in the TOTAL universe is an incredible waste of space". My desktop image is the Hubble Deep Field photo and awes me every time I see it!!

NASA's had plenty of Mars lander failures. Not sure, but I think they've had more failures than successes.
I hope to see the day when we land men on Mars. _________________ Life Member American Numismatic Association (ANA), Pensacola Numismatic Society

It seems I remember something from the Art Bell radio show about the images of mars. I think the ones originally posted on the nasa sight were changed. Maybe someone else knows more on this. Wait there is a knock at my door.....men in black suits.....HELP
