Hi Garry,
Another example of a 1972 Doubled Die selling for more than it's supposedly worth. Seems like a bunch of newbies bid on this one also. I guess you never know how an auction will go. I'll bet the seller is pretty happy.
As far as the other auction goes, there are some nice coins in that bunch. I think the average of 10 bucks each seems high to me, but I have seen some of those individual coins sell for up to 25-30 bucks at times. Once again, you never know on the auction circuit.
I wonder if I put my 1972 Die number 1 out there, if I might be able to get a quarter of a million for it. What do you think??
