A nice 1939 ddo 1DO-001 (die 1 - FS-017). This one still has some red along the rim and even shows some doubling on trust that I didn't notice on the only other lower grade one I had.

Very nice find Ed. The nicer specimens show much more than the circ copies. I have found 16 of these over the years. Poor Chuck couldn't find any for the longest time. Congrats!

Correct that Mr. Bob...poor Chuck STILL has never found one. And he's been through thousands of 1939 cents looking for one.
