This looks like class 2, but nothing on site to use for markers.
Opinions?
The "R" doesn't show here, but I have a third view. I'll add it later, here.

First opinion from the looks of the T in TRUST. Ejection doubling, a form of MDD.

BJ, I almost agree, but I couldn't get the photo to show what I waanted to be seen. The "T" in trust has separation line that is split, and only shows the "dimples". The "R" has a distinct line, about halfway up, INSIDE the loop, and the "S" has a lightly visible line inside the upper loop. My photos don't show. Does this change things? The last "T" does look like EDD.

Agreed. I've seen that before on a lot of machine doubled coins.

Coop, BJ, thanks, also thanks to any others that I didn't mention. I suspected it might be that, but I needed the opinions of the More experienced, to confirm it. I have had a lot of this type, but didn't want to question it just yet. 'Tis done, and yet another "Doubt" gotten rid of.

That is probably some form of die deterioration, but the jury is still out. Important thing to know is that it isn't a doubled die, and it is very common.

Save an example for your education files and put the rest back to work. They were made to be spent and if they are not, they become collectables and no longer change.

Another thing to note is that Class 2s are made from multiple hubbings which aren't supposed to happen on 2002 cents. Next time you have a handful of 1998 and 1999 coins, have a look at the same place on them...especially GOD and TRUST, and you will see that anomaly a lot.
