Announcing teamwork by PCI and coppercoins.com to holder and grade Lincoln cents and Lincoln cent die varieties by Chuck Daughtrey himself. To assure collectors that Chuck personally attributed and graded each coin, each label bears his original signature. Ask for details on cost or visit PCI's website at www.pcicoins.com Check it out!

In addition to this, ANACS is still recognizing the die system published on this site by request of the submittor. In this case, however, Chuck does not grade or attribute the coins. This all happens in the ANACS grading room, where graders use this website to help attribute the coins.

That is very cool. I guess Chuck is going to be very busy now.
I live only 1 hr. from Rossville. Which is cheaper?

David, "snail Mail" is cheaper, but An eye-ball contact is faster, and always worth the trip!

Chuck- will you also be doing the grading of Lincoln cents for PCI, or just variety attributions?

I will be grading regular coins and die varieties for anyone who pays the additional fee per coin and requests that I do it. Exactly what that arrangement is still remains to be ironed out completely.

It's a good idea that you are also grading the coins, Chuck. SEGS also has or had a Signature Series that Jeff Oxman participated in. Jeff is part of the Society for Silver Dollar Collectors (SSDC) and is involved in Vamquest.com, an auction site. Jeff signed a bunch of SEGS slabs some time ago but he said he did not grade the coins. As a result, his signature ended up in slabs that contained cleaned and damaged coins. Some marked as such, some not. For example, I bought an EF45 silver dollar from Vamlink in a Signature Series holder, in 1999, when he was involved in that and someone at Vamlink described the coin as "some would consider this AU". When i showed the coin to a local dealer, he said the coin had been overdipped.
