All I have seen so far is a very minor bar on the 6th column, a minor wavy step and a cud being offered on the 2007's. I'm curious, when did the 2006's break loose with the discovery of all their varieties. early in the year? Later? I'm also wondering if the mint might have tightened up on quality control. Maybe the 2006's are a one time phenomenom (spell check that Smile ), I still have over 2 boxes of early 2007's to go thru but procrastinating.

Rock,
I believe it was about March or April when the 2006 Doubled dies began to show up in some nice numbers. Either way, new dies are being used to make coins every day, so just because nothing significant has been found yet, it doesn't mean they won't be found tomorrow. Something else to consider is that the two biggest varieties for 2006 weren't struck until the end of the year. Keep on your toes, and keep searching as you never know when they might show up.

Just got an Apr. box of 2007P and looked at one roll. Nothing there. Think I'll just set the rest back for later.
Very hard to get these around here. Had to go three counties away to get these. Same place I went for a box of 2007Ds.
Everyone around close looks at me funny when I ask for new cents and they say we don't get those here.

I agree Steven,

The look's we get. Do you have a account with us? Do you need them for a business?

All I want to do is give them 25.00 for a box of Lincoln Cents.

It seems funny that the banks are so un-friendly, when it comes to buying cents. Maybe they think they should make $5.00 on every box of coins they sell! I can't get a box of 2006-D cents, much less a box of 2007-Ds! All I have been able to get is re-cycled, and then only a very few "P", or "S" show up. Maybe we SHOULD think about a "new movement" of Mint rolls.

Yeah, we deal with three banks, and they HATE to see me walking in with my wife. It's like every teller wants to take a break when I walk in the door. LOL

LMBO Laughing

Well my wife normally goes by herself,
but when I'm low on coinage,
and wanting some change to search,
I tag along to "haunt" the teller's nightmares! Twisted Evil
They REALLY hate it when I want new coinage!
You'd think that walk to the vault,
was going to kill them or something.
BUT...The customer is ALWAYS right Wink

The customer is ALWAYS right

Try to comvince them of that! I don't have any hassle with buying boxes of coins, cents, or otherwise. I used to buy a couple boxes of quarters,a week, and turn them back in when I had finished. They never made any comment, and then I would go thru boxes of cents, and return them, too. Then I joined Coppercoins.com! Now they DON'T get their boxes back! I find too many goodies to return, so I keep the leftovers, just in case I have to get rid of a big batch of garbage coins. They just check the rolls in the box, not the "coins" in the rolls!
PS. I use the B of A, and they have a separate room for merchants, (and collectors). There is always several boxes of different denominations on a cart, so they are handy. I see quite a few boxes of cents go out the door.

Well, speaking of 2007's, I found my first 2007 DDR. A vertical bar on the 6th column last night. It's about the length of Lincolns arm. I found it in a mixed roll. In fact this is one of my better boxes of rolls I have encountered in a while. A nice mix of dates, cleaner and more AU stuff making it easier to read and see. I've only opened 4 rolls so far and pulled 5 keepers so far. 2000-D w/ long bar on 7th col.(unlisted), 2005 fluting right side, 2006 sm bar on 7th col., 2004 sm bar 7th colm., and the 2007 medium bar on 6th col.

Rock, and you also, David, I found some very notable fluting, and wavysteps, (see my post, New finds). I might still have them on the mouse, no not any more. And as usual, with very visible severe die cracks in the hair on the OBV. No bars, yet, but I am still looking. This was the second coin ina roll of 2007-P, that I got from David. the first had nothing, thank goodness, but a very deep gouge from a rolling machine!
