Again the newbie has a question. Since Ive joined this forum and read alot of the posts - Ive started looking at my Lincoln's in a different way. OK No more B/S Heres my question.

Pre Mint Damage or Post Mint Damage??????????
Right side of coin is thicker - sharp to the touch from raised rim.
Looks like 11 wheat lines on right side of coin.
I was going to throw this coin out back in the 60's

Looks like post mint damage, maybe it got mashed on a dime making the circular mark along the obv rim, maybe it got stuck in a vending machine and someone got it out using something sharp that gouged the rim or it was a road kill.

It looks like it was an unc or au when it met with disaster. A short life then ouch Crying or Very sad

I see some lines going from that right wheat to the rim, if they are raised they are probably die cracks? Smile
