On page 50 of the Nov 15 Coin World, there is an article describing how Bob bought 2,526 mostly Alabama tax tokens for $263 on eBay.
The hoard came from an estate sale and had been stored in a gallon jar in a basement in Alabama.
He apparently listed the census of the tokens in the American Tax Token Society (ATTS) Newsletter in order to help gage rarity of each type.
