I noticed we have dropped down to 259 members. It was 261. Did two resign, or were not qualified?
Just curious.

Normally Dick, some of the registrants are bogus and after a while we find out about them and remove their info. I have not removed anyone recently, so it was probably Chuck checking the membership and making sure everything was OK.

When bots register it ups the total number. I don't bother removing them right away because they are inactive. I just wait until I get someone's request to be entered and take care of it at the same time. This time there was one real person to add, three bots to remove...so the number went down by two.

Chuck, and Bob, now I know what happened.
I was under the impression that if it wasn't a living human being, then it would screen out those who were not. Guess they do manage to get in, now and then. My problem with the, whatever you call that thing, is that I have had some problems with them, trying to get to my Bank account, etc, on line. My MD is very bad at leaving out parts of the letters, and/or numbers. Thank you both, and have a nice evening. BTW, Chuck I find that the mouse can make the text change to where I can read it, or take it down so far it is only a small line! A CCF member gave me the way.

Dick,

Sounds like you must be using "zoom text"?
Is that what you use?
I think it does best if you have a real big monitor.

ED, I don't know what "zoom text" might be. I hold the ctrl and "spin the wheel" on the mouse, and the text gets big enough for me to read easily, or goes to a VERY small line of print, that I can't even distinguish letters apart! I'm VERY happy with it! It makes my day! I only have 15" monitors.

Dick,

It's a program that allows you to realy zoom into text on the screen made for people with vision problems. I think it even has some feature where it can read the text to you. I know someone with MD that used it and liked it but it costs a bit too much for what it is.

Okay, ED. Now I know what you mean. It is an application, somewhat like "point, and speak", where you speak, and the "puter types for you. That would be ok, except that I don't hear "worth a hoot"! Too many Jets, steam engines, mining and refinery noises, among other things! My kid brother has a 40% hearing loss, from flying P5M's for nearly four years. I flew them for nearly 10 years, plus everything from the old "Yoke-boats", (PBY's), and everything in between. I have hearing aids, but they only amplify the general noise, and that doesn't help a bit. I actuall have LESS problem understanding people in Spanish, because they generally speak with much more facial expression, that the Americans do. That is like the old way the teachers wanted us to speak "with pear-shaped tones". It makes for easy lip-reading, but the "gringos" don't use it any more! No I'm not a Gringo, I'm a "Norte Americano", a "North American". I do speak Spanish, in fact, I'm fully bi-lingual. I am as much at home speaking Spanish, as when I speak Inglish. So much so, in fact, that when speaking with Spanish speaking people, I also think in Spanish.

It does the voice part but also allows you to zoom in way more on text. The problem with it is by the time you zoom in that much you need to zoom way out to see the corners of the screen. The person I know that used it would ask me "how do I exit this screen" and I'd have to zoom way back out to see the rest of the screen. What you use probably does good enough for cheaper.
