I got one nickel as my change today and right away I thought it was proof-like so I carefully picked it up and folded it in a dollar. Got home and looked and it's a 2006-S proof and in nice shape. Somebody must have broke apart and spent their 2006 proof set already. Seems funny to get it in my change, If I bought a proof set and got a PF-64 or 65 in the set I'd be bummed out but for 5 cents it's a fun find
Theives will dispense stolen coins through CoinStars to get the face value and not have to hold onto them very long. Nice find. Nice idea of using a dollar bill to fold it up in so it won't get scratched. _________________ Richard S. Cooper

Very nice find. I too have been fortunate enough to find a few very nice proof coins in pocket change over the years. Your nickel looks very nice. Congrats again on the nice find. _________________ Bob Piazza
