Hello folks!
Can you help me figure out how to post images on this forum other than using a link? I want the photo to appear right away with the message or question, rather than the viewer having to click on jpg links one at a time. Not sure how to proceed.

On what ever site you are using to store your photo there will be an image code that you can generate. Use the code that starts will copy that code then go to where you want the photo and paste it there. The photo should appear rather than the clickable code.
I use photo bucket and I [check] the photos I want, then go to the bottom of the page and [click] on generate, then I choose the code I want, whether it be to show just the code to click on, or bring up the photo right way.
Hope that helps.
Steven

Here's another thing you may want to try for those you already have posted to test my theory, rather than to redo them.
Type in right after with no spaces in between. That should bring up the photo to view. That should do the trick.
Such as

CC, you might try this: On Photobucket, Click on the square at the lower left corner of the image. Then go all the way down to where it says to generate...click in it. Then there will be a page with a bunch of options. I always choose the one for "message boards". Click on the line of text, and it will "highlight". Right-Click, and click on copy. Then when you post your photo, it will be just like "cut and paste". you just pick your spot, and paste the photo. It will show as "IMG, ete, IMG". Works for me. NO typing at all.,

OUTSTANDING!!!! Thanks for opening my eyes with that simple and effective technique. I tried it on my other post which had 5 pics, and it works like a charm. What a better solution!! Thanks again, Steve!

OK so I have just taken a photo of a coin. I normally never take photos of coins. They are in my hard drive. I just read all this stuff on how to post a pnoto. Makes no sence to me at all. Think I'll forget it.
I don't know what a [IMG} is
I have no idea of what a photo bucket is
I have no idea of why I would tupe in http anything for retreiving my photos. They are on my hard drive.
