I got a reply from John Wexler about my recent MN Silver Proof find -- turns out it is new and he wants to see it. He also told me that the holdup on his publishing the Wexler State Quarter die varieties is that he has not personally photographed every one of the Minnesota DDRs. Because of the illfated attempt at a common ID system - the first 57 MN DDRs listed by Potter were assigned Wexler IDs without Wexler actually seeing the coins. Now that that the common ID system is desolved, Wexler has been working hard to aquire and photograph all of the DDRs he has not yet seen. He's got his needs down to a short list...

2005-P 25c MN Die #13 (WDDR-013)
2005-P 25c MN Die #14 (WDDR-014)
2005-P 25c MN Die #38 (WDDR-038) *Satin Finish*
2005-D 25c MN Die #5 (WDDR-005)
2005-D 25c MN Die #6 (WDDR-006)
2005-S 25c MN Die #4 (WDDR-004) *Proof*

If you have any of these 2005 MN 25c DDRs (or know somebody who does), John Wexler would really like to hear from you. He does not want to publish his reference material using photos taken by others - so the sooner he can get his hands on these, the sooner he can make his reference material available. Please pass this list on to anybody you know who is still searching for MN DDRs.

Please refer to Ken Potters MN DDR page as a reference for the DDRs listed above. Here is the link...

I can't help on any of those. They are some of the same holes in my collection that a lot of people seem to have. I will try to round them up for him though.
