coin's lately. I have been going thru every cent I own, everyone I come in contact with that would let me look thru there coin's for one. These coins must be rare. It's very habit forming don't you think?

Steven,
I had a feeling that was your's since you discovered the difference in the design. That is a great find! Do you know of anyone else that has found one? As I stated, I have been trying to find one, die abrasion has fooled me more than once.

Hi Rhubarb - just to be on correct side, the proper terminology for the coins that you refer to is "transitional". The term RVD refers to the reverse die. Also, the 1989 transitional cent has been found to be die abrasion and taken from that list. So it is the 1988 and 1988D Lincoln cents that have RVD-006 instead of the normal RDV-005.
Just didn't want to see any confussion.

Thank's BJ, Just thought I would ask. Found one today that I think is the one that was removed from the list. Thank's.
