Official Announcement:
I have been offered a full time job in Sarasota Florida. I have been there to test the position out over a two week period of time, and enjoyed the work and people. I have accepted the job and am immediately preparing for a cross-country move. The position is a management position with John Maben Rare Coins, Inc.
I expect to be quite scarce over the next month and a half while I tie up loose ends, sell two cars, sell a house, find a place to live there, pack, move, and unpack. My first day of full-time employment is expected to be 14 January, 2008.
In light of this, I know I have some business with some of you that needs to be tied up before I leave. If I have anything of yours, it will need to be sent back to you now, at whatever stage I am currently at. I have no time now to work on it. I will send return shipping with the package to cover you sending it back to me in Florida once the dust settles.
The attribution guide is going to have to go on hold for now. I will work on it while I can during the next month, and hopefully get the third packet finished and printed. We will see how much progress I can make on it.
As for the job and what it means to me, you, and coppercoins.com, I can say this much. The money is really good or I wouldn't move. Bills are not going to be a major issue in my life. Time, however, might be. We will have to see how things go. One of my primary reasons for being so slow in some areas is that I always had to put the wants on hold for the needs. I needed to do certain things to keep the bills paid. Well, now that money isn't an issue, I will be able to get back to the more fun stuff I used to enjoy...so life should be far better.
Anyhow, that's all I needed to announce.

Congratulations! I appreciate the time and effort you put into this site and understand that the bills have to be paid somehow.

Chuck, that is good news! I'm always glad to see someone worthy, get a raise, (whether it be a job, new job, or just recognition) when deserved, and you have been long overdue!
I will be sendiong the next "installment" for the packets. I have received #2, and have mentioned it. The first, and third will arrive, "when they get here". While I am still on that subject, will the C@#coppercoins still be the address, or will you be using a "brick, and morta" address, after the move? At least temporilarily?

Chuck: Look on the positive side. You will see more Philly coins rather than the Denver ones you've always had in the past. Congratulations on the Job...

Chuck, an after thought: Don't get rid of your chainsaw! There won't be any ice storms there, but it will come in handy, to trim what the hurricanes leave!! LOL

Congratulations Chuck!
I hope it helps get the needed stuff (bills and savings) shaped up so you can have time for the things you like and enjoy some relaxing in between. I'm sure everyone will understand while you shift focus to life, life comes before hobbies so the fun will be waiting when you get settled.

Just made the first move toward moving today. Got rid of a pickup and a Mercedes in trade toward a 2005 Toyota Highlander V6 4x4. Nice vehicle. Now I can make it to Florida without worrying about breaking down!

That news made me grin on the new prospects ahead of you!
I will express my condolences now on undertaking such a move. Been there and done that.

Great to see that you are working in your passion, the coin industry and I am sure that John Maben is happy to get a hold of you.
We will be all most neighbors now, with less than 200 miles in between where you are and my location.
Good luck Chuck on this new adventure and I hope that all turns at great.
