Hi , I just joined the forum
I’ve been going through some coins that I have had for many years and label them.
Is this caused by a die crack or something else ??
Every time I look at this one it reminds me of a movie - - The Omen

Hi D42,

First off welcome to the Forum. These guy's and girls are great to answer any question you have. I do beleive the crack's are gas bubbles associated with bad cleaning of the Planchet before it was stamped. Your pictures are great.

Thanks everyone for the Welcome
I wasn’t sure, Thanks for the help

Anytime that I came across a coin that looked unusual I put it in a coin tube I have several odd looking coins, but from what I’ve been reading some my just be a lab test or some nut with a new sears hand tool, but there’s always the outside chance that they are legit error’s, I’ll be posting the others a little at a time.
