I searched 4 more rolls of 2005 Ocean in View nickels today and found another new DDR (A minor one). But the interesting thing is that a key marker I found on it changed significantly and I found multiple examples of both states within the same roll.
Here is the DDR - minor doubling under the lower left branch of the tree...
This is the earlier stage.
This is the later stage.
And here is the marker - a die crack and chip... and then later a 'landslide'
This is the earlier stage.
This is the later stage.
And just to be sure things lined up, I did an overlay of the earlier stage over the top of the later stage. The markers lined up.
It is not a big deal, I know. But I thought it interesting that both states were found in the same BU mint roll. That tells me the transiton happened pretty quickly. _________________ -----

Yes, and it looks like you got the "whole ball of wax"! Nice find(s)! i don't collect nickels, but appreciate it when one does, and shares.
