It appears your using a scanner, I think. If you look at the top of the digit's it appears to be Machine Doubling or Aabrasion caused by over use. The MM appears to have the sasme effect. These are very good picture's.

Actually these were taken with a Nikon Coolpix E5600 and 10x loop. I thought this might be machine doubling, but needed a second pair of eyes to be sure.

These are good pictures. Alway's remember to take a photo with the date in 1940 position. Also take it without a angle. I think you will do well with your setup with practice. WELCOME TO THE FORUM!
