So who is it? Patriots or Panthers?

One thing I do know, the roman numeral sure is long...longest it's ever been, and it won't be this long again for 40 more years.

XXXVIII

Gotta go with the team I grew up with...the PATRIOTS! After so many decades of underachieving, it's good to see them as one of the NFL's elite teams. Carolina is not bad either, but my heart always has been, and will always be for New England.

I agree. Pats should win.

Lately there aren't many dynasties like there used to be (49ers w/ Montana, Cowboys w/ Staubach, Steelers w/ Bradshaw, etc). I think that's good for the game, unlike baseball where it's the Yankees vs everyone else. Not much fun when one team has all the marbles.

Bob's reaction was - well - predictable. It's for that reason that I will stand behind my friend and root for the Pats...if it weren't for Bob, I'd probably find something else to do Sunday.

It's not bowling, it's basketball. I bet the Panthers score more home runs than the Patriots and get at least one hole-in-one.

All I have to say is "yikes". Can't America do better than that?

I guess I'm starting to get old but that halftime show did not need to happen. What a waste of effort. The money used to air that "show" should have been donated to the Salvation Army. The world would be better off.

Don't know how many heart attacks I had during the game, but the Patriots once again did what was needed to win the big game. I do want to know why many of my friends called when Carolina went ahead and wanted to know what happened....(Like I control those sorta things!)... all I could say was that the game wasn't over...and it wasn't. Congrats to my home team, and for those Panther fans out there...there is nothing to be ashamed of. It was a hell of a game!

The first half or so was kinda dull but what a second half! And what a finish by your Pats. Congrats!
