In these, (except the cent), I see broken "legs" on the "T"'s. and parts of the "P"'s.

One has an extra "U", another maybe a reversed B, or E.
Thanks for looking.

Looks like rough handling. I'm still trying to figure out picture # 2?

I saw a lot of extra letters or marks on dollar edges, might be that big coins bang together with enough weight to cause them.

Is #2 a 1943 cent with battle damage ?

I don't know where it has been, but it sure gives the impression that it is 1943. It came in box one from back East. I was going to have some fun, claiming I had found a 1943 copper cent, but seems I am not alone having that impression.
I checked the obv/rev of the coins to see if there might be a letter that might possibly make that type impression, but came up empty. So I posted them The two, side-by-side were to show the letter, and the same letter on the normal strike. Some of the "T"s shao a broken leg, or maybe some other type damage. Not all the roll has these marks. Most have some damage, but the few that have a clean edge have littl "bag marks, or maybe "tot-bin" marks

The Cent sized coin (I won't give it the dignity to call it a coin) may have been one that had been in water for some time or acid dipped at sometime or both. Not sure what happened, but it didn't leave the mint looking like that.
