The back of this seems to have been struck twice, but no doubling of images? Is that possible? The front is not as bad, but there is some kind of difference. Help

It looks like some sort of stain or something. I do not believe it is a re-strike as none of the existing devices have been squashed, and as you stated there is no other images on the coin. _________________ Bob Piazza
