First impression is that it could be a class VIII doubled die (tilted hub). The 1915-D, DDO-001 (and listed in other various number systems) has a bar underneth the L of LIBERTY and so do more than a few others. They may have been caused by a faulty hub collar that corrected itself during the hubbing due to increased pressure (up to 1928 on the Lincoln cent). It is not a die clash, nor is it machine doubling. Bob P. may want to take a closer look at this one, just on a hunch?
