i HAVE BEEN SEEING BIG BIG PRICES FOR THE 1922S D OR NO D WHAT IS THE DEAL AND WHAT HAVE I GOT?

I believe you have a pretty bad looking plain 1922D. The no "D" or weak 'D" are the result of worn dies. If you didn't know, 1922s were only mined in Denver, so there should not be any 1922 plains, or 1922S. A regular 1922D...even in just good condition is worth about $9.00.

here is one my mother found about a month ago in a cash register in south east Texas.. I believe it is attributed as 1922 weak D strong reverse...the D is HARD to see but im pretty sure its there, you might be able to use these photos as a reference, i am told the weakness of the second 2 in the date is a marker for the weak D variety...not bad for pocket change find really
