As much as I hate to admit it I've been thinking of selling my entire collection of regular Lincolns and rpms!
The passion has waned since retirement in '05 along with the frustration of not finding the examples I still need.
Are there folks/companies out there who MIGHT buy them all or must I endure the maddnes of selling them one at a time thru pictures I can't take and/or countless listings?
If the latter is the case my collection will probably regress into an obscure closet just like my mentor Harry Ellis.
Nothing definate or compiled to date but once respected in the past.

Someday doug when I retire, I plan to do the same. The collectors that follow us will get to own the coins we treasure.
About the interest waning: I've experienced that a lot as I get older. Things that were a BIG thing, is now collecting dust, stored till sold. But interest disappears when we get up there.
About your coins for images: You could auction them and scan a full view of obv & rev and use the tag from the site to sell the coins posted here. So the micro photography would be an easy thing, just linking to the site. I don't think Bob & Chuck would mind. It would also be advertising for the site as well.
Great to heard again from you. I think often of you as others may use your avatar and I think it is you. Great to hear/see you again. We all hope the best for you.

Doug, I suppose that there are people who would buy the whole collection at once, but I dont know of a person from the top of my head who would.
I'm sure that many collectors here in this forum would be very interested in purchasing some varieties, me included.

I sincerely appreciate the kind responses folks! Sadly, this old dog has not been one to compile my coins as to individual specimens other than placing them in three ring binders holding 2x2 flips. I take that back... I did, but had a computer crash bringing me to near suicidal tears losing genealogical efforts as well.
Everthing is still here.. just awaiting the personal drive and time in putting it all back together.
I apologize to all for the initial inane post and thank you all for reminding me to get off my butt and "spend a LOT more on my butt " providing relevant info! Getting old and lazy sucks!
Project # 78 on an ever growing list that has golf @ a two handicap holding the top spots and primary retirement passion.
I'll be back and lurk daily as usual.
