Good luck on the outcome Gary. That is a good looking Lincoln.

Since I'm familiar with doubling on LMC reverses, perhaps someone can point out what's doubled in the statue?

If you notice the feet and legs of Lincoln to the South of the body, the feet and legs are split in the middle. I hope this helps.

Thanks everyone
John W has it on his desk now and has given it the number of 2001 1c WDDR-018.
I dont know where it will go from there. it depends on where John sends it.
Bob will get it soon as well.
Gary

I thought you would like it Bob. I did find another one somewhat like it last nite, also an 01
different die and different strike.
I will get it up as soon as I get it on photobucket. I don't think it is a keeper but it is interesting
Gary

Kurt, if you will check the site, 2006, and 2007, in particular, you will find a large variety of this type doubling. It is typical of the "single-squeeze" operation, and is pretty common on all mints. You will see some very "outstanding" photos! Cheers, Dick

I just got the coin back from John today. Thank you Coop for all your help.
it will be listed in an article in the Sept issue of John's variety notebook column in coin world.
I don't get coin world so if anyone here gets it I would appreciate a copy.
Bob the coin will be in the mail on Monday.
I don't remember what the attribution fee is anymore. but I think it was $3.00 so I will add that
thanks all
Gary
